Requirements

  • Minimum of CIPD Level 3 (or equivalent)
  • 2 years HR experience
  • Relevant professional HR qualification or equivalent experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Works in partnership with leaders and line managers on sourcing, employee relations, compensation and benefits, HR systems, and data management across multiple countries
  • Ensures team member queries or concerns are dealt with efficiently and consistently
  • Works with HR colleagues to monitor, review, and update HR policies in line with current legislation and best practice
  • Maintains accurate employee information manually or in a Human Resources Information System
  • Drives organization performance by providing expertise and/or data analysis
  • Participates in the delivery of local, segment-wide, and company-wide HR practices and strategies
  • Assists in sourcing candidates (e.g., job boards, professional associations, social networking sites) and occasionally screens candidate application materials
  • Participates in preliminary interviews to identify applicants who meet requisite skills and qualifications
  • Logs applications, schedules interviews, submits data for pre-employment screening, and assists in preparing offer letters
  • Prepares and provides prospective candidates new hire paperwork (e.g., offer letter, company policies, tax forms, demographic information) and obtains necessary signatures and identification
  • Gathers and compiles data for payroll processing using HRIS reporting function and edits data as directed
  • Assists with cross-checking physical payroll information
  • Supports routine inquiries from team members, retirees, beneficiaries, and applicants regarding recruitment, employment, benefits, payroll, record keeping, and reporting
  • Answers routine to moderately complex employee questions on HR policies, practices, procedures, and programs; escalates complex issues
  • Accompanies senior colleagues to meet with team members/managers for employee relations activities (e.g., absence discipline, performance, reorganizations, absence management, flexible working)
  • Performs data lookup and entry in HR administration systems to resolve inquiries
  • Enters new hire/rehire data and team member/dependent benefit information into HRIS, applicant tracking, and/or vendor systems
  • Assists with investigating data discrepancies
  • Assists with routine to moderately complex questions on general benefits information and reviews benefits packages with third-party consultants
  • Assists with benefits issues and requests, determines escalation needs, and reviews benefits information for publication (e.g., communications, presentations, packets)
  • Gathers data for retirement/beneficiary/benefits enrollment
