Housekeeper discharges experience a must
Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties
Ability to communicate effectively with others, hear, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds
Preferred: High School or GED Equivalent
Preferred: One to three months related experience

Responsibilities

Maintain a clean/neat environment in assigned areas including patient rooms, terminals, offices, nurse's stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, and lobby areas
Participate in all cleaning activities as assigned, including dusting, washing, drying, mopping, vacuuming, moving furniture, and emptying trash
Keep assigned area fully stocked with supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, etc
Maintain stock on individual cleaning carts including wet and dry supplies
Maintain good customer relations at all times
May sort, wash, and accurately deliver linens
Commit to Avera’s mission, vision, core values, and social principles

Uphold Avera’s standards of Communication, Attitude, Responsiveness, and Engagement (CARE)
Maintain confidentiality
Work effectively in a team environment, coordinating workflow with other team members
