Requirements

Linen and housekeeping experience required
Ability to work 2nd shift (Monday-Friday 3:30pm-12:00am, rotating weekends/holidays, 80 hours/2 weeks)
Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties
Ability to communicate effectively, hear, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds
Preferred: High School or GED equivalent
Preferred: One to three months related experience

Responsibilities

Maintain a clean/neat environment in assigned areas including patient rooms, terminals, offices, nurse's stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, and lobby areas
Participate in cleaning activities such as dusting, washing, drying, mopping, vacuuming, moving furniture, and emptying trash
Keep assigned areas fully stocked with supplies like paper towels and toilet paper
Maintain stock on individual cleaning carts including wet and dry supplies
Maintain good customer relations at all times
Sort, wash, and accurately deliver linens as needed
Commit to Avera’s mission, vision, core values, and social principles

Maintain confidentiality
Work effectively in a team environment and coordinate workflow
