Requirements

  • Experience in housekeeping (a must)
  • High School or GED Equivalent (preferred)
  • One to three months related experience (preferred)
  • Ability to work 2nd shift: Monday - Friday 3:30pm-12:00am, rotating weekends/holidays (80 hours/2 weeks)
  • Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others, hear, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean/neat environment in assigned areas including patient rooms, terminals, offices, nurse's stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, and lobby areas
  • Participate in cleaning activities such as dusting, washing, drying, mopping, vacuuming, moving furniture, and emptying trash
  • Keep assigned areas fully stocked with supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, etc
  • Maintain stock on individual cleaning carts including wet and dry supplies
  • Maintain good customer relations at all times
  • Sort, wash, and accurately deliver linens (may be required)
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Coordinate workflow with team members to ensure a productive and efficient environment
