Strong customer service and organizational skills
Ability to greet patrons warmly and guide them to tables
Proficiency in managing reservation systems (booking, cancelling, confirming, waitlist monitoring)
Awareness of restaurant activity for seating and dining flow (servers' table loads, timing, sections, seating chart)
Capability to communicate daily specials and menu details (including QR code access)
Ability to field customer complaints and respond to inquiries/requests timely, friendly, and efficiently
Willingness to assist with opening, closing, and side duties (cleaning, stocking, folding silverware)
Ability to assist servers with running food and bussing tables
Availability for seasonal full-time (4-5 shifts per week, starting mid-December)

Responsibilities

Greet patrons as they arrive in a warm and friendly manner, guide them to their tables, and introduce them to their server
Manage reservation system: book, cancel, confirm reservations; monitor waitlist and communicate estimated wait times
Monitor restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow, maintaining the reservation system's seating chart
Provide each patron with a menu or details on viewing via table QR code; communicate daily specials
Field customer complaints and respond to inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner
Assist with opening, closing, and side duties (cleaning, stocking, folding silverware, etc.)
Assist servers with running food and bussing tables
