Requirements

  • Must live in Phoenix, Tucson or surrounding areas (field-based position)
  • Knowledge of clinics, admissions process, and supporting programs
  • Knowledge of all insurers and private pay business
  • Extensive knowledge of the dialysis business, support services, clinics, and community resources
  • Knowledge of the local market and industry trends
  • Adherence to FMCNA Compliance Program, regulatory requirements, FMS policies, Code of Business Conduct, company policies, and local/state/federal laws and regulations

Responsibilities

  • Grow clinic patient census/treatment volume and improve commercial mix by providing superior customer service and admission support to referral sources and patients
  • Build, establish, and maintain referral source relationships; develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing partners to build the referral base
  • Conduct one-on-one contacts with patients identified for admission to market services and facilitate admission
  • Facilitate and coordinate the admission process for all patients referred for Dialysis Services; provide outreach to hospitals and physician offices for timely admission
  • Collaborate with physicians and hospital staff to obtain information necessary for outpatient placement
  • Escalate admissions issues and problems according to established procedures for timely resolution
  • Work with clinical manager(s) to accommodate shift requests as appropriate
  • Assure patients and families understand payer benefits
  • Monitor and react to market changes impacting the company and patient services; provide regular communication to management on program status, customer service issues, and obstacles
  • Conduct market analysis; develop, implement, and evaluate weekly, monthly, and quarterly marketing plans; meet regularly with management to review and revise
  • Consistently meet sales & marketing call objectives; maintain accurate and timely account data and complete call reports
  • Conduct professional sales presentations to all customers
  • Participate in community outreach programs as determined by marketing plan
  • Determine referral source satisfaction with admissions process and dialysis services; collaborate with internal customers for positive changes
  • Collaborate with internal and external resources to provide renal education to new patients and referral sources as requested
  • Review and comply with all applicable policies, laws, and regulations
  • Refer to senior staff for higher-level problems; escalate issues to supervisor/manager as necessary
  • Assist with various projects as assigned by direct supervisor
  • Other duties as assigned
  • In FMCNA-affiliated Acute Programs within the assigned area, conduct additional specified activities
