Job Description: Remote Consumer Panel Recruiter

Location Type: Remote (Houston, Texas) Employment Type: Full-time Travel: 20-30% throughout the US


Position Overview

NIQ is seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) Consumer Panel Recruiter to join our team. This remote role is responsible for recruiting households to participate in the Nielsen Consumer Panel. The primary objective is to maintain an assigned number of households to achieve weekly data transmissions and ensure the highest quality data for all brands within covered product categories.


Responsibilities

  • Achieve in-person recruitment and installation goals by utilizing proven recruitment techniques.
  • Visit selected homes within a designated territory when panelists present collaboration gaps.
  • Educate panelists on proper scanner usage and the importance of scanning all products.
  • Adhere strictly to NIQ methodology, policies, and procedures for data collection.
  • Recruit statistically selected eligible homes within an area, without an appointment.
  • Persuade and educate households, overcoming objections to maximize panel participation and build rapport.
  • Persuade panelists to complete surveys via paper and/or online.
  • Effectively communicate incentive and reward potentials to panelists and address their questions.
  • Collaborate with various departments within NIQ, including the National Consumer Panel (NCP), to ensure a quality sample that complies with methodology.
  • Drive to selected homes within a designated territory using a company-provided vehicle and GPS.
  • Travel to other markets to support other teams.

  • Willing and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, going door-to-door to various types of residences.
  • Ability to navigate stairs, elevators, walkways, driveways, and various home entrances.
  • Willing and able to interact with people for several hours in their homes, regardless of location or condition, including homes with pets or varying states of cleanliness.
  • Bachelor’s Degree is a plus.

Additional Information & Benefits

Compensation:

  • Anticipated base compensation range: $30,000.00 - $40,000.00. Actual salary will vary based on experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
