Requirements

Candidates must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with current licensure in the state of practice, and possess a valid CPR certification. Experience in IV therapy and home health nursing is preferred, along with a strong understanding of medical terminology and patient care principles.

Responsibilities

The Home Infusion Registered Nurse will provide a broad range of infusion therapies to patients in their homes, deliver one-on-one nursing care and patient education, and adhere to the physician’s plan of treatment. They will also be responsible for maintaining patient records, communicating with physicians and pharmacists, and participating in the telephonic on-call rotation. Additionally, the nurse will occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds and may drive up to 1.5-2 hours for patient visits, utilizing a travel reimbursement program.
