Candidates should possess an Associate’s degree preferred, and at least one year of experience in home health or a related customer service capacity is preferred. They should be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and have at least one year of general office experience, including data entry or word processing functions. Previous Home Health experience is also preferred, along with maintaining relevant professional licenses, certificates, or registrations.
The Home Health Scheduling Coordinator will compile daily schedules of clinical staff, assign POD clinicians to patients under the direction of the Assistant Clinical Manager, assist with care coordination, serve as a liaison between field staff, patients/clients, and POD personnel, communicate with CFSS regarding order approvals and staffing needs, process returned visits, and perform other duties as requested by management. The role also involves weekend rotations as needed and utilizing standard office equipment such as computers and fax machines, potentially requiring travel by automobile and exposure to changing weather conditions.
