Candidates need at least 1 year of experience as a heavy equipment technician, advanced knowledge in air brakes, tires, hydraulics, electrical, drive train, suspension, steering and wheel-end components (evidenced by ASE Certification), Mechanical Trade School certificate or degree, certificate in electrical diagnostics, working knowledge of Tier 4 emission systems, and welding/fabrication skills.
A strong candidate has at least 1 year of hands-on experience with heavy equipment repairs, ASE certifications demonstrating advanced knowledge in key systems like hydraulics, brakes, and electrical, plus certificates in electrical diagnostics and mechanical trade school training.
