Requirements

Candidates should have 0-4 years of experience in Environmental Health & Safety, an excellent oral and written communication skills, including Tamil (local language), knowledge on ISO standards, and a technical knowledge and understanding of EHS-related laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

The Health, Safety, and Environment Specialist will support the Operation Team with ensuring the full implementation and consistent execution of the Baker Hughes (EHS) programs and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, work closely with manufacturing, facilities, and other teams to provide EHS support, mentoring, and engagement, coordinate the closure of all findings and observations from audits and inspections, participate on accident investigation, conduct internal EHS inspections, provide general administrative and record-keeping support for all related regulatory records, maintain EHS equipment and associated documentation requirements, and ensure data accuracy and on time tracking and submission of HSE metrics and reports.
