- Associates degree in engineering technology, chemistry, radiation protection or related field + 5 years related work experience –or–

Responsibilities
- Assist the Radiation Protection Supervisors in the direction of day-to-day activities of the Radiation Protection personnel including data analysis and coordination with other station work groups
- Develop, maintain and implement Radiation Protection Department procedures and processes
- Primarily coordinate the implementation of the Station’s ALARA Program; and supplement Radioactive Waste Management; Radioactive Material Control; Dosimetry; and Respiratory Protection Programs
- Monitor the effectiveness of the above programs and produce various trend reports
- Represent Radiation Protection through Work/Outage Management planning committees assisting in the development and execution of radiological support activities
- Act as Contract Coordinator for various Radiation Protection Contracts as required
- Assist in the development and oversight of Radiation Protection training for Technicians and Radiation Workers as required
- Support Refueling/Forced Outage and Duty Team positions on alternate/backshift schedules as required
- Qualify and support Emergency Plan positions on rotation as required to maintain Health and Safety of the public residing within the required response times for the assigned position
