Requirements

Experience in Industrial Safety and Hygiene
Knowledge of US OSHA, Canadian MOL, and ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System
Ability to conduct audits and provide regulatory guidance
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in database management and trend analysis
Familiarity with emergency action plans and drills
Ability to teach various safety classes (e.g., ACP/OSHA 10-hour, LOTO, confined space rescue, electrical safety)
Physical fitness and ability to participate in hands-on training, including working at heights and confined space rescue drills
Good grammar and writing skills

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain core Industrial Safety and Hygiene policies, procedures, and systems
Ensure compliance with US OSHA, Canadian MOL, and ISO 45001:2018 standards
Organize and provide Working at Heights and Confined Space Rescue competency verification and drill participation
Write policy, procedures, and forms to ensure regulatory compliance and intuitive use
Develop and build professional relationships with various stakeholders (technicians, site managers, engineers, etc.)
Administer database and mine for trends, potential corrections, and improvements
Design and supervise emergency action plans and drills
Teach various safety classes including ACP/OSHA 10-hour, LOTO, confined space rescue, electrical safety, etc
Travel to sites to provide instruction, auditing, and support
Provide program administration and support for ISO 45001, 9001, and 14001
Provide regulatory analysis and advice
