Responsibilities

  • Manage expenses, budgets, and support revenue generation within designated region and country to ensure forecasted financial targets are achieved
  • Manage customer relations in all service and maintenance matters (service requests, contractual services, emergencies) to ensure customers can operate Alcon equipment with the highest level of satisfaction
  • Supervise, develop, and train Field Service associates to carry out the goals and objectives of the service department
  • Plan service activities ensuring they are executed in line with relevant times and costs
  • Ensure adequately trained internal resources, extending to external partners and customers' product use knowledge, enabling troubleshooting and maintenance
  • Establish and build strong relationships and partnerships cross-functionally (Sales, Marketing, Clinical Applications, Manufacturing, etc.) and provide necessary support to optimize customer relations
  • Manage assigned projects ensuring timely completion
  • Advise peers, senior parties, and external stakeholders on technical complex issues to influence actions; create new concepts and serve as mentor in area of expertise
