We’re looking for an experienced and strategic Head of Technical Program Management to lead cross-functional engineering initiatives across our fast-scaling SaaS platform. Reporting directly to AlphaSense Executive Vice President of Engineering, this is a high-impact leadership role responsible for aligning engineering execution with business priorities, driving large-scale programs, and embedding operational excellence at scale.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and scale the Technical Program Management (TPM) function to support key product and platform initiatives across multiple engineering lanes.
  • Drive end-to-end execution of high-priority cross-functional programs, ensuring timely delivery, risk mitigation, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Partner with Engineering, Product, and Design leads to prioritize initiatives, define success metrics, and remove delivery bottlenecks.
  • Build and maintain lightweight but effective governance and operating cadences (e.g., sprint reviews, program dashboards, OKR check-ins).
  • Coach and mentor a team of TPMs, raising the bar on program leadership and execution rigor.
  • Identify and institutionalize best practices in program planning, dependency management, and communication.

Who You Are:

  • 10+ years of experience in technical program management, including 3+ years leading TPM teams in high-growth SaaS environments.
  • Proven success delivering complex, cross-functional software programs, ideally in domains like platform engineering, AI/ML, or enterprise SaaS.
  • Strong technical fluency; able to partner credibly with engineers on architecture, infrastructure, and trade-offs.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills; executive-ready and detail-oriented.
  • Deep understanding of agile development methodologies, with a track record of adapting processes for scale.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working in a product-led growth company.
  • Familiarity with compliance, security, and cloud infrastructure programs.
  • Background in software engineering or systems architecture.

Compensation & Benefits:

For base compensation, we set standard ranges for all roles based on function and level benchmarked against similar stage growth companies and internal comparables. In order to be compliant with local legislation, as well as to provide greater transparency to candidates, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location. You may also be offered equity, and a generous benefits program.
