Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive HR/People Ops experience, with a proven track record of building and scaling the People function at an early-stage startup (Seed to Series C)
  • A "full-stack" People background, with deep expertise across the entire employee lifecycle and the ability to move seamlessly between strategy and execution
  • Demonstrated success as a strategic partner to founders and executives
  • Experience building key programs from the ground up, such as compensation bands, career paths, and manager training
  • Strong business acumen and a data-centric mindset
  • Exceptional judgment and experience handling sensitive employee relations issues with empathy and professionalism
  • Tech-savvy and forward-thinking, with hands-on experience with modern HR tools (HRIS, ATS, compensation platforms, etc.)
  • Unimpeachable integrity and discretion

Responsibilities

  • Own the People Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive People roadmap that aligns with and drives business objectives
  • Lead all aspects of the function, from onboarding and talent management to scaling people and culture programs
  • Be a Strategic Partner to Leadership: Serve on the leadership team as the primary expert on people and culture
  • Design, implement, and scale core programs that support the team, including performance management, compensation and leveling frameworks, learning and development, and employee engagement initiatives
  • Champion Culture: Intentionally cultivate and scale the unique culture, helping define and embody core values and develop rituals and practices that foster connection, collaboration, and inclusivity
  • Establish Operational Excellence: Build a lean, efficient, and compliant People Operations function, implementing and managing the right systems and processes to support the full employee lifecycle seamlessly
  • Build Foundational Programs: Develop and implement foundational programs, such as performance management, compensation and leveling frameworks, learning and development, and employee engagement initiatives
  • Manage and analyze employee data to inform strategic decisions and optimize the People function
