Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales or business development in hotel technology (PMS and/or payment)
  • Strong leadership and coaching capabilities
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Deep understanding of the Austrian and/or German hospitality market
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory

Responsibilities

  • Own a personal sales quota focused on new logo acquisition
  • Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, product presentations, contract negotiations, and closing
  • Represent Planet in key sales meetings and pitches to secure strategic deals
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Business Developers to achieve targets (ARR, new logos, market openings)
  • Implement the commercial strategy locally, adapting it to market dynamics
  • Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and ramp-up of new team members
  • Ensure adoption of sales processes, tools, and reporting (Salesforce, pipeline tracking)
  • Act as the operational link between field insights and global strategic priorities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Finance, and Operations to ensure alignment and execution
  • Drive new logo acquisition and ARR growth in assigned territories (Eastern Austrian and/or Southern German markets)
