Requirements

  • Proven track record of developing a successful OEM / MSP / embedded software sales organization
  • Demonstrated success in leading a quota carrying sales team (not Channel overlay)
  • Established knowledge of product management and engineering stakeholders
  • Executive presence, credibility, and tenacity to influence the broader organization
  • Ability to build relationships and work as a team to accomplish results
  • Personal flexibility to adapt, compromise, and contribute innovative thinking
  • Experience in building, mentoring, and developing a high-caliber sales team, including identifying talent gaps, making good hires, and removing underperformers
  • Ability to involve team in establishing sales benchmarks, brainstorming strategies, and maintaining standards of excellence
  • Consistent record of identifying and meeting ambitious performance benchmarks, driving results under various market conditions

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement sales strategy across the global OEM business
  • Grow, mentor, and lead a world-class “hunter” sales organization
  • Lead team to grow existing accounts and pursue new logos targeting OEM, MSP, or Embedded customers
  • Lead and manage all OEM sales activities, defining go-to-market strategy, and executing aggressive plans to increase revenues and market share
  • Provide thought leadership on revenue-generating ideas, solutions, planning, and forecasting OEM sales results, achieving/exceeding plans
  • Manage integration and collaboration with product management, marketing, and engineering to influence timing and delivery of solutions
  • Provide leadership in recruitment, training, and development of top-quality sales talent
  • Serve as key point of contact with customers, developing and maintaining relationships with strategic partners, key customers, and sales team
  • Mentor OEM sales team to develop and manage relationships from technical contributors to C-level executives (e.g., CTOs, CPOs, Product Management, Engineering)
  • Maintain operational discipline with detailed opportunity and activity management in Salesforce for accurate forecasts
