12+ years’ experience in supply chain related functions (required), preferably within a retailer or manufacturer
Thorough knowledge of supply network design and order to cash process, related transactions, policies, guidelines, and performance measures
Complete understanding of warehouse and transportation operations management and associated performance metrics
Multi-unit experience in Supply Chain and Logistics functions
Experience with S&OP process & supply/demand planning
Leadership of complex, cross functional projects including setting scope, reaching consensus, successful execution, and presenting results (required)
Ability to use facilitation and influence skills to drive success within the project
Ability to enhance and utilize an organizational network to increase effectiveness
Successful delivery of one or more programs from inception to completion
Skilled and experienced in communicating effectively at all levels in the organization, building teams, resolving conflict, managing risk
Leading multidisciplinary activities, planning and allocating resources and interfacing with customers and suppliers
Understanding of the business and implementation of an organization’s strategy

Responsibilities
Initiate/lead/support/govern significant projects in the logistics space to improve Cost to Serve (per tire & % to net sales) while sustaining or improving customer satisfaction
Reduce SC Cost To Serve by focusing on warehouse productivity, transportation efficiency, technology & materials movement of FG/RM, emphasizing zero loss with loss elimination
Ensure operational logistics support to enable business to meet S&OP/AOP targets
Lead the SBU to provide guidelines/governance on warehouse and transportation management practices from a system, contract management, compliance, safety & standard operating procedure perspective, adopting best practices from industry/regions using the global process
Ensure effective communication between functional areas, Clusters and management at both summary and detailed technical levels
Drive governance on Logistics KPIs, performance management and contract management
Build Safety culture and framework in the logistics area with continuous guidance to ground team
