Requirements

  • Leadership experience in developing and implementing sourcing strategies
  • Expertise in structured Commodity Management processes, including diversity, sustainability, risk assessment, and business continuity
  • Proficiency in managing contracting processes and coordinating with Legal for documentation
  • Skills in supplier qualification, selection, contract development, implementation, compliance, and ongoing supply base management
  • Ability to conduct data gathering, spend analytics, and utilize market intelligence for procurement strategies and business cases
  • Knowledge of financial planning, cash flow, tariffs, inventory, inflation, and performance analysis
  • Experience with procurement tools (e.g., eSourcing, Spend Visibility)
  • Strong relationship-building skills with internal stakeholders (Global Demand and Supply Planning, Global Logistics operations and compliance, Global Finance, Regional commercial and customer teams, IT) and external partners
  • Mentoring and staff development capabilities through coaching and development plans

Responsibilities

  • Drive long-term Procurement strategy development, annual business planning, and Procurement performance management
  • Define and implement future digital strategy for Procurement, including systems, processes, and technologies
  • Lead a team of procurement professionals to develop strategic programs: Strategic Category Management, Supplier Relationship Management, Supply Resiliency, Supplier Diversity, and ESG initiatives
  • Direct, build, and implement procurement strategy for forward logistics, reverse logistics, contract logistics, and trade compliance brokerage services
  • Provide leadership in developing and implementing sourcing strategies
  • Champion structured Commodity Management processes
  • Manage supplier qualification, selection, contract development, implementation, compliance, and ongoing supply base management
  • Develop and establish Logistics procurement strategy, processes, and procedures consistent with corporate policy and sound practices
  • Partner with functional business units for consistency across Logistics categories; implement productivity initiatives, vendor management, and performance metrics (KPIs, SLAs, Terms and Conditions); support transactional/tactical activities
  • Serve as thought leader and key point of contact for Logistics sourcing/category management
  • Evolve Supplier Business Relationships to deliver innovation, best value, and solutions
  • Demonstrate measurable reduction in year-over-year total cost of ownership without compromising quality and service levels
  • Drive adoption of global sourcing strategies and ensure cross-team collaboration
  • Champion procurement tools adoption
  • Lead a Global Category Team to create expertise in spend areas and strategic procurement
  • Mentor and develop staff through coaching and development plans
