Engineering qualifications (electrical, mechanical, building services or related discipline)
15+ years’ experience in technical operations and facilities management with major developers or asset owners
Proven success managing large, complex portfolios across retail, residential and industrial sectors
Strong commercial acumen with experience leading $10M+ OPEX/CAPEX budgets
Track record of building high-performing teams and driving contractor/vendor performance
Deep knowledge of compliance, safety, risk and sustainability frameworks
Engineer by training with career built in facilities and technical operations for major owners or developers
Experience leading diverse asset classes (large-format retail, residential, industrial)
Ability to work directly with Directors/owners, taking full accountability (not suited for highly structured corporate environments or agency/outsourced side without direct ownership)

Responsibilities

Lead all aspects of facilities management and technical operations across the national portfolio
Take ownership of OPEX and CAPEX budgets, lifecycle planning and major works
Embed compliance, risk and sustainability frameworks across all asset classes
Partner closely with development teams to ensure operational readiness for new assets and expansions
Manage, mentor and grow a high-performing facilities team, supported by a strong network of contractors and service providers
Act as the technical advisor to the executive team, ensuring assets are future-proofed and aligned to long-term strategy
