Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (significant and relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu)
4-6 years experience as a client-facing project lead in the healthcare industry (e.g., ambulatory practice, EHR vendor, health plan, hospital, government, management consulting) with proven track record of creating, maintaining, and enhancing customer relationships and EHR optimization
Previous implementation or optimization experience with top-tier ambulatory EHRs and practice management software (preferably Epic Ambulatory, NextGen, Athena, Greenway, or eClinicalWorks)
Depth of knowledge in Athena EHR
Strong understanding of practice workflow
Ability to travel periodically
Thrive in a fast-paced environment and respond well to change
Strong verbal and written communicator
Relevant competencies: developing and maintaining relationships, organizational skills, project management, critical thinking, problem solving, attention to detail, effective written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

Lead EHR optimization efforts for assigned projects: coordinate assessments of current EHR utilization, identify optimization areas for ACO initiatives, assist practices in leveraging EHR/3rd party systems, implement point-of-care population health insights, support MIPS compliance
Provide EHR expertise: identify common approaches (e.g., templates, reports) for aims like Medicare Wellness Visits, Transitions of Care, Advance Care Planning, Risk/HCC; develop educational materials; understand EHR vendor updates on population health; develop/support EHR-specific user groups; provide strategic input on EHR for ACO initiatives
Facilitate data exchange: ensure proper data capture in EHR for quality measures/reporting, enable data sharing with Aledade, assist with integrations/interfaces/data sharing strategies
Project management: independently manage multiple projects, provide tools/train on patient-centric value-based workflows, communicate progress to stakeholders, present to audiences from executives to front-line staff to influence adoption
