Requirements
The Head of Cybersecurity should possess demonstrated leadership in cybersecurity with experience building security programs in fast-moving environments (startups/scale-ups preferred). They require a strategic mindset with hands-on expertise in application security, cloud security, compliance and IAM. Proven ability to manage complex security challenges, influence executive stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams is essential, along with excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
As the Head of Cybersecurity, the individual will define and implement company-wide security strategy aligned with business goals and product roadmap, lead and mentor a growing security team, oversee secure design and operation of cloud infrastructure, application security, and secure CI/CD pipelines, lead security incident responses and manage crisis communication, manage security risk management framework, lead audits and certifications (ISO27001, SOC 2, GDPR), manage third-party security risks, ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (GDPR), manage data governance, handle subject rights and breach notifications, work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Legal, and HR to embed security practices, and drive a security-first culture across the organization.
