Candidates must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License, current 40-hour HAZWOPER Training, and the ability to pass HAZWOPER training upon hire. Preferred qualifications include a HazMat endorsement, demonstrated accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail, as well as skills in using heavy and light equipment, hand and shop tools, and instruments.
The HazMat Industrial Services Operator Driver/Technician will be responsible for properly transporting various waste streams, performing clean-up of industrial waste in a safe and compliant manner, responding to customer spills and emergencies, conducting pre-trip and post-trip DOT inspections, maintaining vehicle logs, performing LTL pickups and full truck loads, maintaining company equipment, ensuring customer satisfaction, processing hazardous and non-hazardous materials, assisting in maintaining good housekeeping, and performing other related duties as assigned.
