Responsibilities

Loading and unloading shipments according to procedures to prevent damage to customer goods or other materials
Operating forklifts and other lifting and transporting equipment to assist in sorting shipments
Scanning shipments during the unloading, loading, and sorting process
Loose loading and loose unloading at the sorter
Directly reporting damaged/improper packaging and/or opened shipments to the Operations Supervisor
Attaching correct routing labels to shipments when necessary
Efficiently organizing assigned work and optimally using available resources
Keeping the warehouse clean during work
