Requirements

  • 5+ years in Data Analytics, Data Engineering, or Data Science with a track record of shipping production-grade data systems for marketing or CRM
  • Expert-level SQL skills
  • Knowledge of Python and associated analytics libraries (Pandas, etc.)
  • Experience with dbt (or equivalent), Git, and an orchestrator (Airflow/Prefect)
  • Strong problem solving skills, analytical aptitude, and numerical dexterity
  • Demonstrated track record of project ownership
  • Bonus: Healthcare/regulated environment experience and consent-aware data flows; familiarity with privacy-safe attribution concepts
  • Bonus: Experience with CDPs like Segment
  • Bonus: Practical ML/AI skills (NLP/CV classification, LLM prompting/guardrails)
  • Bonus: Experience with product event/attribute tracking design and implementation processes — partnering with product and engineering personnel
  • Bonus: Clear communication and a system-builder mindset; comfortable scoping ambiguous problems into iterative roadmaps

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with Growth leadership to shape data-driven strategies that drive customer acquisition, retention, and profitability
  • Build classification, heuristic, or scoring models that help prioritize creatives, offers, or audiences for acquisition and retention
  • Lead delivery of lightweight AI agents & scoring services from conception to production
  • Develop and maintain robust marketing data pipelines, ensuring data integrity and scalability to support various business needs
  • Work closely with our CRM team & tech partners to ensure the availability, quality, and accessibility of data required for email eventing and analytics
  • Automate channel ops (naming conventions, bulk formatting, asset metadata, audit checks) with scripts/jobs
  • Stand up monitors and add observability (freshness, volume, null rates, join keys) for Growth eventing/data pipelines and document handoffs for non-technical users
