Requirements
2+ years of prior relevant experience in Hotel Operations management and/or Group Housing management
Must be 21 years of age or older
Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of Group Housing teams, leading Supervisors, Specialists, Room Block, and Contract Coordinators to deliver flawless service
Ensure assigned operational functions of Group Housing are consistent with departmental guidelines/standards
Manage and monitor daily labor, departmental budget, operations of Group Housing, and marketing strategies to produce profitability while meeting objectives
Manage delivery and management of service standards and group surveys, initiating recognition and action plans
Manage Human Resources responsibilities for Group Services Housing, including creating a positive work environment, performance feedback, hiring, training, and succession planning with diversity commitment
Attend meetings with clients and Property staff, managing coverage and support for Specialists in liaison efforts with Sales/Convention, Hotel, Accounting, Revenue, and meeting planners
Manage team and processes for monitoring contracted group blocks and pick-ups daily
Attend weekly block and pick-up review meetings, providing accurate updates on groups, historical patterns, and impacts on room inventory/revenue
Support strategic goals through research, development, evaluation, and implementation of new products, services, technology, and processes
Manage relationship with training team for onboarding, providing guidance and mentorship to Specialists, and developing staff for advancement
Collaborate with Marketing team to optimize group marketing efforts, including strategic campaigns and accuracy of online booking platform materials (e.g., Passkey)
