Job Summary

The Graphic Designer (Contract) will provide ongoing design support (both print and digital) to supplement Natera’s marketing initiatives. This role will work closely with Natera’s in-house Creative and Brand team. The ideal candidate works quickly, is highly creative, driven, organized, and possesses a strong attention-to-detail. Applicants must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage time efficiently, work on multiple projects concurrently, and communicate with colleagues from different groups/levels exceptionally well.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and update various types of new and existing marketing collateral including (but not limited to) brochures, flyers, print and digital ads, tradeshow booth design, web images, charts/graphs, and presentation design based on current brand guidelines. Video editing experience is a plus (but not required).
  • Collaborate with creative team on conceptual development exercises and larger company-wide initiatives.
  • Proof, refine, edit, and prepare files for pre- and post- production. Work with print fulfillment team to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Digitally manipulate photographs and/or artwork using Adobe Creative Suite and incorporate these images into documents.
  • Assist in maintaining our creative resource library.

Job Requirements

  • 3-5 years of related experience and a Bachelor of Arts/Science degree in Graphic Design (or equivalent).
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills—Must be able to multitask, pivot/prioritize, and manage projects ensuring all tasks are completed.
  • Excellent communication skills—When needed, communicate with team members about the requirements of each project.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word).
  • This is a 40 hours/week, entry/mid-level, contract position (remote).
  • West coast-based preferred.

Compensation

The pay range is listed and actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations. San Carlos, CA $38 - $50 USD
