ROLE SUMMARY:

DSC is seeking a digitally native, forward-thinking Graphic Designer with expertise in eCommerce and AI-driven design tools. This role will enhance paid media, email marketing, and acquisition efforts, while also supporting broader brand initiatives. The position blends creative excellence with AI capabilities to streamline production, optimize design performance, and enable scale through automation. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design Execution: Own the design execution of high-impact visuals for performance-driving channels (Meta, Google, display, programmatic) and email marketing.
  • Strategic Design: Create strategic, consumer-first designs that drive engagement and conversion while maintaining brand tone and identity.
  • Scalable Systems: Develop and maintain scalable design systems and templates for performance marketing, email, and acquisition flows.
  • AI Integration: Integrate AI-powered tools (e.g., text-to-image, layout assist, content versioning) into the creative workflow to improve efficiency, speed, personalization, and ideation.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Creative, Growth Marketing, Lifecycle, and Project Management teams to test and optimize creatives based on data-driven insights.
  • Concept Development: Support creative concepting with Senior Designers and leadership, transforming ideas into high-impact visuals.
  • Feedback & Refinement: Represent work in creative reviews and refine it with clear rationale and responsiveness to feedback.
  • Prioritization: Balance multiple priorities across quick-turn projects and larger campaigns, maintaining speed and quality.
  • Trend Awareness: Stay up-to-date on performance design trends, tools, AI innovations, and ecommerce best practices.
  • AI Education: Educate and support internal teams on best practices for using AI in design through workshops, documentation, and peer coaching.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: 3+ years of design experience, ideally within ecommerce, CPG, or performance-driven consumer brands.
  • AI Tools Proficiency: Deep familiarity using AI tools and platforms to generate a high volume of creative assets (e.g., Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Runway ML, Figma AI, ChatGPT).
  • Performance Design: Strong experience with and knowledge of best practices for email and acquisition design (Meta, Google, display, programmatic).
  • Software Mastery: Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite and Figma; experience with motion graphics is expected.
  • Portfolio: Strong portfolio showcasing web, email, marketing, and brand design work.
  • Skills: Strong visual eye, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
  • Collaboration: Highly collaborative and adaptable, with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced, iterative environment.

NICE-TO-HAVE:

  • Experience with marketing automation and ecommerce platforms (Klaviyo, Braze, HubSpot, Shopify etc.).
