As a Graphic Designer, you will report to the Senior Vice President, Marketing and Engagement. Your primary responsibility will be to advance our brand and content strategy, supporting growth, building awareness and credibility, driving market engagement, and increasing impact. This role involves close collaboration with the marketing team and external vendors to promote our mission of reimagining pediatric healthcare through effective brand management. You will target thought leaders, national health plan audiences, provider groups, media, and government officials, with a strong focus on accelerating our brand through design and management.
Responsibilities
- Utilize Adobe Creative Suite design software to create graphics, custom iconography, and illustrations for marketing assets across digital and print channels.
- Support the development of polished market-facing content, including collateral, presentations, promotional items, event and environmental design, social and web graphics, presentation posters, and co-branded materials, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and visual impact.
- Act as a brand steward, maintaining and updating content within the internal content library and with external vendors (including print stores) to ensure brand consistency and accurate messaging.
- Manage the inventory of creative assets and maintain version control for all materials and corporate brand assets and guidelines.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand their graphic needs for various projects and create marketing materials and support campaigns that align with organizational goals and brand identity.
- Oversee and manage the proofing, formatting, and print production process for both B2C and B2B audiences, including SMOG readability testing for patient/caregiver communications and making copy adjustments to meet state-required Medicaid reading levels.
- Provide light video editing or motion graphic support for multimedia campaigns, social media, and internal projects.
- Support internal marketing operations, including asset tracking, digital folder management, campaign documentation, and brand governance.
- In partnership with the digital marketing manager and UX manager, support web content management, including SEO best practices and light CMS updates.
- Support the brand and design needs for SWAG orders and branded merchandise for events and team requirements.
- Travel may be necessary for events, team collaboration, and training/education purposes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- 4-5 years of experience in a creative or marketing role, with a focus on design and content creation, and experience designing and laying out marketing materials.
- A strong portfolio showcasing branding, packaging, digital, and visual work.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign are essential).
- Proficiency in Wordpress and Figma.
- Experience with photography, motion graphics, or video editing (After Effects, Premiere Pro).
- Passion and commitment to improving the health and lives of children with special healthcare needs.

- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a startup environment.
