Candidates should possess an Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree, and preferred business experience in a healthcare and/or insurance setting. Strong leadership and mentorship skills are required, along with the ability to manage a recruiting team and oversee physician panel maintenance.
The Government Recruiter Team Lead will strategically recruit physicians to meet operational demand for federal and VA exams, partner with business leads to identify recruitment gaps, and negotiate cost and contract terms. They will also review the work of recruiters, oversee physician payment recoups, provide onboarding and coaching to team members, support client relationships, contribute to performance feedback, and lead or assist with special projects and strategic initiatives. The role involves maintaining accurate physician profile instructions, updated fees, and ensuring ongoing compliance and accuracy of physician data.
