Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience as a Business Operations, General Management, Founder, Strategy & Ops leader, or Product Manager building and scaling consumer businesses
  • Proven ability to take a business from zero to one: concept through validation, launch, scaling, and ongoing optimization
  • Strong commercial acumen with hands-on experience in P&L management, pricing, business models, and go-to-market
  • Track record of driving impact in ambiguous environments, making decisions with partial information, and balancing strategy with execution
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills with ability to align executives, motivate teams, and negotiate with partners
  • Experience building operational processes and scaling organizations
  • Strong analytical skills, with ability to leverage both data and research to evaluate business performance and strategy
  • Demonstrated ownership of business outcomes across lifecycle stages

Responsibilities

  • Define a bold strategy, business thesis, and operational plan for new Grindr expansion businesses
  • Build and lead small, cross-functional teams through validation, launch, and scaling
  • Own business model, unit economics, pricing, and P&L accountability for your initiative
  • Develop go-to-market and commercialization plans; negotiate and manage external partnerships
  • Design operational systems, processes, and resource models to enable rapid scaling
  • Use financial, operational, and customer data to evaluate business performance and drive iteration
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Design, and Research to ensure user needs and business goals are met in tandem
  • Lead through ambiguity: identify growth levers, operational risks, and long-term business opportunities
  • Communicate effectively across executives, cross-functional peers, and external stakeholders to align on vision, progress, and outcomes
