Candidates must be available for communication during Quora's coordination hours (Mon-Fri: 9am-3pm Pacific Time) and possess at least 4 years of recruiting and/or sourcing experience, with a minimum of 2 years specifically in talent sourcing for engineering roles. Proficiency with tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, sequencing tools, and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs) is required, along with experience sourcing talent internationally, particularly in North America, and an understanding of diverse hiring practices. Preferred qualifications include experience with Ashby ATS and recruiting in a fast-paced startup environment.
The Global Recruitment Sourcer will source candidates for both Quora and Poe using various platforms and techniques, review inbound applications to identify qualified individuals, and collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to develop and manage proactive candidate pipelines. This role involves managing the candidate journey from initial outreach to interview coordination, conducting market research, maintaining talent maps, and building a diverse candidate network. The sourcer will also be responsible for achieving sourcing metrics, including outreach volume, pipeline goals, and time-to-source targets, and will write compelling outreach campaigns to engage prospective candidates.
