The ideal candidate possesses a minimum of 7 years of experience managing and administering full payroll offerings in the United States, including processing and oversight. Strong knowledge of payroll legislation across multiple states, tax and statutory deductions, and year-end processes for different states is essential. The role requires flexibility to work varied hours for global team collaboration, experience managing local vendor relationships (payroll, benefits, tax, pension), and familiarity with finance/accounting teams. Strong attention to detail, prioritization skills, the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, and analytical capabilities are also required.
The Global Payroll Manager will oversee monthly and semi-monthly payroll processing across U.S. and international locations (NAMER, EMEA, APAC), ensuring accurate and seamless execution. This includes managing payroll vendors, acting as the primary contact for international payroll inquiries, and leading vendor check-in calls. Responsibilities also involve processing employee status changes in HRIS (Hibob) and payroll systems (ADP), reviewing payroll reports for accuracy, reconciling discrepancies, and ensuring vendor and internal team adherence to payroll deadlines. The role requires maintaining secure internal controls, ensuring reliable payroll data, collaborating with People Operations for accurate HRIS data, and optimizing payroll processes for efficiency and employee experience. Additionally, the manager will maintain confidentiality, ensure compliance with global payroll regulations, support the Finance team with reports and audits, and compile data for quarterly and year-end processing, including managing tax and social security submissions.
