Requirements

The ideal candidate possesses 2+ years of experience in implementation, onboarding, or customer success within a fast-paced SaaS or HR/PEO environment. Demonstrated project management skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple concurrent client timelines. Clear, empathetic communication skills focused on proactive client guidance and strong cross-functional collaboration abilities, particularly with Sales, Product, and Operations, are also required. Bonus qualifications include 1+ years of experience working directly with PEOs or in a customer-facing HR, payroll, or benefits role, and familiarity with co-employment structures, payroll tax obligations, and benefits administration.

Responsibilities

The PEO Implementation Specialist will partner directly with new PEO clients to develop tailored implementation plans covering payroll setup, benefits enrollment, state tax registrations, and HR compliance onboarding. They will own the end-to-end onboarding process, aligning with clients on key milestones, timelines, and success criteria. The role involves guiding clients through Remote’s PEO platform to ensure adoption of co-employment processes and understanding of available tools and services. Collaboration with Sales, Legal, Product, and Support teams is crucial for smooth hand-offs and resolving client-specific requirements. Additionally, the specialist will provide client feedback to internal teams to improve onboarding workflows, identify product gaps, and enhance platform capabilities, while contributing to the evolution of PEO implementation best practices, tooling, and documentation.
