Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent minimum education (Degree in Events, Hospitality or Business Admin advantageous, not essential)
3 years' related experience in event admin
Recent experience using Cvent (essential for setting up registration websites)
Microsoft suite proficiency (essential)
Experience of events or industry tradeshows
Experience working in global teams across timezones
Ability to work independently with a remote manager
Ability to prioritize own workloads to meet deadlines and manage time efficiently
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers, internal clients, and vendors/suppliers
Fluent English speaker (native or professional proficiency)
Sharp eye for detail and attention to detail
Experience managing high-capacity workloads, online files, and keeping excellent call notes
Globally aware and willing to problem solve with the team
Eye for design/creative skills (advantageous)
Passion for events (greatly valued)
Corporate experience preferred (agency or in-house background acceptable)

Responsibilities

Set up event tools (event registration websites, contact capture forms, polls, surveys etc.) using Cvent
Prepare PowerPoint decks to support event research and offerings to internal clients
Manage printing and branded merchandise orders
Gather speaker information as guided
Book project calls, take call notes, and circulate them in a timely manner
Work with vendors (venue finders, venues, suppliers, AV companies, etc.)
Support delegate communications and respond to queries
Manage team mailboxes
Provide event project management support
Provide general strong administrative support across the Global Events Team
