Candidates must possess ACVP or ECVCP Clinical Pathology board certification or eligibility, a DVM or equivalent degree, and formal pathology training such as a residency or graduate studies in a clinical pathology-related field. Preferred qualifications include 2-5 years of diagnostic pathology experience and 1-2 years of experience reading digitized glass slides. Strong diagnostic skills in cytology and hematology, excellent verbal and written communication, high-level interpersonal skills for collaborative teamwork, and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are essential. The role requires flexibility with changing methods and technologies, the ability to work efficiently to high quality standards, and a reliable internet connection with at least 50 Mbps download speed.
The Global Dx Clinical Pathologist will analyze cytology and hematology cases from diverse species using a state-of-the-art digital platform. Responsibilities include evaluating digitized slides visually for assessment and reporting, contributing to a global team of clinical pathologists, and potentially lifting and moving items up to 25 lbs.
