Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience as a veterinary medical professional or veterinary technician, or equivalent experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, along with the ability to interpret and analyze documents and insurance policies. Eligibility for Property & Casualty adjuster licensing is necessary. Bonus points for experience in pet insurance, other lines of insurance, or an existing Property & Casualty Adjuster license.
The Claims Adjuster will collaborate with CX to provide guidance and education to policyholders throughout the claims process. They will review veterinary bills for accuracy and coverage applicability, investigate claims based on insurance policies, and communicate with veterinary providers for necessary information and records. The role also involves collaborating with other stakeholders to provide technical knowledge and advice.
