Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in sales, preferably within the automotive or manufacturing industry
  • Proven success leading regional or global sales teams and managing complex commercial negotiations
  • Deep understanding of Electrical Distribution Systems (EDS), manufacturing processes, cost structures, and supply chain dynamics
  • Strong strategic mindset with demonstrated ability to develop and execute global customer strategies that drive revenue growth
  • Advanced commercial and financial acumen, including P&L management, pricing, and cost analysis expertise
  • Experience in building and mentoring high-performing, customer-focused sales teams
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to navigate cross-functional environments and collaborate effectively with engineering, operations, and product development teams
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and results-driven, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic global environment

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of automotive sales professionals to achieve individual and team sales targets
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans and initiatives to expand market share and maximize revenue growth
  • Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze sales data, and implement corrective actions as needed to achieve sales objectives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key automotive OEMs, dealers, distributors, and other stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute customer-centric sales strategies that meet client needs and expectations
  • Identify new business opportunities and market trends within the automotive industry, conducting market research and analysis as necessary
  • Drive the acquisition of new customers and expansion of existing accounts through proactive sales efforts and relationship building
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, terms, and agreements with customers to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes and secure long-term partnerships
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, engineering, and operations to align sales strategies with company goals and objectives
  • Provide leadership and guidance to ensure effective communication and collaboration across departments in support of sales initiatives
  • Make strategic decisions related to sales strategies, pricing policies, customer negotiations, and market approach within established guidelines and targets
  • Allocate resources such as sales budgets, manpower, and marketing funds to optimize sales activities and achieve targets
  • Establish and manage partnerships with key stakeholders, suppliers, and distributors to enhance market penetration and sales opportunities
  • Assess and evaluate sales performance metrics, analyze results, and implement corrective actions or improvements to drive sales growth
