Responsibilities

  • Editing and proofreading content to ensure accuracy and meet standards
  • Creative writing of marketing content to engage customers
  • Proofreading and copy editing of storefront descriptions
  • Reporting patterns of issues to improve database and product performance
  • Testing tools and providing feedback for efficiency and accuracy
  • Performing translations and review tasks as needed
  • Working with Quality Department to monitor linguistic quality and plan quality management
  • Defining quality expectations per language, in collaboration with client if needed
  • Supporting root cause analysis (RCA) and designing corrective actions
  • Ensuring quality oversight through KPI tracking and status reporting
  • Planning, performing, and tracking LQAs if applicable
  • Driving the arbitration process
  • Joining client calls to discuss quality, strategy, corrections, and requirements; leading on linguistic issues
  • Documenting client meetings and following up with linguists for alignment
  • Acting as liaison between client and Welocalize linguistic team
  • Ensuring client feedback is implemented
  • Performing direct reviews with client's SMEs where applicable
  • Creating and maintaining linguistic assets
  • Maintaining client-facing documentation
  • Communicating asset updates to linguistic team
  • Reviewing copy/loc and giving feedback to linguists; communicating 3rd party and client feedback
  • Supporting linguists in understanding arbitration corrections
  • Acting as liaison for terminology, style issues, product features, and questions
  • Responding to content reviewers’ queries
  • Supporting linguists with questions during production and escalating as needed
  • Profile matching and assigning work/content types to linguistic team
  • Guiding team to identify root causes of issues and determine improvement actions
  • Supporting onboarding of new linguists when applicable
  • Reviewing and evaluating language tests of potential candidates
  • Identifying linguistic-specific training needs; creating, maintaining, and delivering training program
  • Coaching and mentoring linguists
  • Identifying challenges, underperformance, and making recommendations on task dispatching or replacements
  • Identifying workload or workflow issues and providing solutions to Welocalize team
