Requirements

Candidates should have completed an ACGME accredited fellowship in Geriatrics and possess extensive experience caring for older adults. Expertise in dementia and related cognitive disorders is essential, along with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate challenges creatively. Candidates should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of successfully leading clinical teams and a passion for educating families and clinical providers. Licensure in OH, WA, NV, or FL is preferred.

Responsibilities

The Geriatrician will evaluate and manage a panel of patients with cognitive disorders and their caregivers, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. They will identify areas for improvement in the care model and technical platform, work with the Medical Director to achieve key clinical performance indicators, and provide memory care training to new hires. Additionally, they will develop and maintain a curriculum for educational conferences for clinical providers and oversee the interdisciplinary team on geriatric expertise.
