Requirements

Candidates must be board-certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with proven expertise in conducting comprehensive Psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatments for a diverse range of mental health concerns in pediatric patients. They should possess experience leading pediatric mental health clinical services, proficiency in guiding and inspiring teams, a commitment to cultivating inclusive cultures, and a passion for spearheading innovation in care delivery. Furthermore, they need to be technically literate and adaptable, comfortable with scalable approaches to care delivery, proficient in using various technologies, and able to quickly learn and adapt to new platforms.

Responsibilities

The Medical Director will provide general supervision for the prescribing team, ensuring clinical quality, safety, compliance, and alignment with evidence-based care. Responsibilities include managing a caseload, providing psychiatric diagnostic evaluations and medication management, documenting work meticulously, collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting office hours and case reviews, ensuring team adherence to quality practices, identifying areas for improvement, and maintaining ongoing chart review. Additionally, the Medical Director will provide strong leadership to the psychiatry team, adhere to collaborative practice agreement guidelines, conduct monthly 1:1 meetings, and contribute to the growth and development of the organization through innovation initiatives, while also acquiring new state licenses and supporting innovation in care delivery models.
