Requirements

Bachelors degree in Geology, Engineering or related discipline
Significant Subsurface experience
At least 10 years' experience in Engineering/Technology, Geoservices or Subsurface or Petroleum Engineering or Production Engineering
Working knowledge of Production Technology or Petroleum Engineering
Ability to communicate at all levels within the organization and effectively influence others
Ability to work across disciplines and coordinate across several projects
Ability to work both independently and as part of multi-disciplinary teams
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly motivated with excellent analytical and interpersonal skills
Valid NYSC discharge or exemption certificate

Responsibilities

Acting as the subsurface focal point for UK well construction operations for external and internal stakeholders
Collaborating with the Well Construction business segment with advising customers on Baker Hughes technology to help improve subsurface understanding based on customer requirements during operational planning
Engaging with other groups in the Baker Hughes organisation to ensure appropriate subsurface professional support is available when required
Identifying opportunities where other GaffneyCline energy advisory disciplines may be impactful to the customers business
Supporting business development including identifying upsell opportunities and proposal preparation
Participating in industry events and presentations to expand the GaffneyCline energy advisory brand
