Requirements

  • Willing and able to perform physical demands: bend, lift various weights (occasionally over 80 lbs, regularly over 40 lbs), good eye/hand coordination, reaching, pulling/pushing
  • Adaptability to environmental factors: wet conditions, temperatures -10 to 75 degrees, external heat/cold, high humidity, wet floors, aromatic spices, extremely high noise levels (hearing protection provided)
  • Tolerance for long periods of standing/walking on cement floors, repetitive arm/wrist/hand movements, reaching/lifting above shoulder level, bending, stooping, twisting
  • Appropriate PPE: foot, eye, and ear protection
  • Provide government identification number for verification of previous Tyson employment history
  • Facility accepts rehires after 365 days and only if not worked more than two previous times for Tyson (subject to longer periods or denial based on dismissal reason)
