Requirements

  • Completed University Degree related to a Supply Chain field
  • Fluent English (Intermediate to Advanced); Advanced English preferred
  • Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to identify, analyze, and resolve operational and logistical issues efficiently; make decisions under pressure
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret operational data, KPIs, and generate reports; detect patterns, trends, and opportunities; intermediate to advanced Excel, Power BI, etc
  • Relationship Management: Establish and maintain relationships with teams, suppliers, carriers, customers; lead multidisciplinary teams; effective communication, conflict management, negotiation
  • Green Belt certification or some Lean certification (preferred)
  • Experience in a similar or related Supply Chain position (preferred)
  • Career leading teams of more than 100 people (direct and indirect) (preferred)
  • Leadership Skills (preferred)
  • 24/7 schedule availability; work Monday through Saturday; 100% face-to-face in Santa Catarina

Responsibilities

  • Leads the analyzing and developing of logistics plans affecting production, distribution, and inventory
  • Accountable for all carrier selection and renewals
  • Plays key role in contract negotiations and interfacing with carriers to maintain service levels
  • Inspires continuous improvement of logistics processes through process improvement, prioritization, and project planning
  • Owns the development and maintenance of cost estimates, forecasts, and cost models
  • Tracks costs and savings for all transportation modes
