Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of work experience in manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related field
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Ability to interpret data, perform basic calculations, and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work a 12-hour shift in a 24-hour, 7 day per week operation
  • Must be able to work overtime as necessary
  • Must meet DEA security clearance requirements if requested
  • Physical ability to frequently lift/push/pull/carry up to 50 pounds
  • Close and color vision required
  • Preferred: Experience in a cGMP environment
  • Preferred: SAP experience
  • Preferred: Pallet Jack & forklift experience

Responsibilities

  • Read and adhere to workplace procedures such as SOPs, Batch Records, cGMP’s, and MSDS memos
  • Weigh raw materials, load gelatin silos, mix GMRs, transfer TiO2, and monitor temperatures of GMRs
  • Mix gel for use on production line
  • Train in AGMS (Automated Gelatin Manufacturing System)
  • Perform all cleaning duties in area
  • Adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safety Standards
  • Wear required PPE (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs, etc.)
