Requirements

Candidates should possess a degree in Computer Science or another quantitative field, along with at least 6 years of experience in Java/Kotlin, TypeScript, and React.js or similar technologies. Strong SQL skills and experience with PostgreSQL are required, as well as comfort with microservices-based architecture and monoliths, along with message-oriented systems. Applicants should demonstrate a passion for Agile best practices, including testing, CI, iterative development, evolving architecture, clean code, and DevOps experience with cloud-based infrastructure utilizing tools such as Terraform. Furthermore, candidates must be able to define, shape, and drive technical projects to completion, and possess excellent communication skills to articulate technical issues clearly to non-technical stakeholders, with fluency in English and German being essential.

Responsibilities

The Fullstack Developer will lead the development of core platform services and REST interfaces using Kotlin, integrate front-end applications with the backend API’s using TypeScript and React.js, evolve and maintain operational data sources (PostgreSQL), integrate data services from third parties, lead the development of AWS Lambdas in TypeScript, evolve and automate provisioning of the AWS infrastructure, and contribute to the overall platform architecture and strategy. They will also be responsible for working as a core part of a small, cross-functional team, taking ownership for what they build, and communicating technical issues effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
