Requirements

Candidates should have at least 3 years of professional experience in building and maintaining consumer-grade web applications. A solid understanding of full-stack web development, including modern frontend frameworks, APIs, and backend services, is required. Familiarity with technologies such as Python, Golang, Ruby on Rails, React, TypeScript, NextJS, GraphQL, HL7, FHIR, MySQL, and PostgreSQL is a bonus, but the ability to choose the right tool for the job and quickly learn new technologies is essential.

Responsibilities

The Full Stack Engineer II will partner with product managers to lead the technical planning of member experience improvements. They will contribute across the full stack of web technology, including frontend, API, and backend. The engineer will design systems that span multiple services to ensure consistent, fast, and clean data flow. They will lead the development of telemedicine features, swiftly address issues to improve product reliability, identify areas of technical debt, and influence roadmap plans with effective solutions. Additionally, they will participate in and influence technical decisions within the wider Applications Engineering team and promote software engineering best practices across teams.
