Requirements

Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of full stack engineering experience, with expertise in both single and multi-tenanted environments, and a strong understanding of Javascript/TypeScript, Python and FastAPI, or equivalent modern languages and frameworks. They should possess in-depth knowledge of relational and document-based databases, as well as other large-scale data storage paradigms, and familiarity with modern web architecture and best practices. Fluency in HTML, CSS, responsive design, and related web technologies is also required, alongside experience with unit and integration testing, distributed teams, version control using Git, and performance optimization at scale.

Responsibilities

The Software Engineer will develop on large-scale progressive and single-page web applications to streamline user workflows, build Python, FastAPI backend services including REST APIs and ML pipeline services, and write code that meets internal standards for security, style, maintainability, and best practices for a high-scale HIPAA web environment. They will work with Product Management, UX, Customer Success, and other stakeholders to iterate on new features and address defects, advocating for improvements to product quality, security, and performance. Additionally, they will contribute to developing new features that support the company's growing customer base and work with external integrations such as Auth0 and Amplitude.
