We are a team dedicated to designing, developing, maintaining, and improving software for various ventures projects. These projects are adjacent to our core businesses and are bootstrapped rapidly with a lean team. You will be actively involved in the design of various components behind scalable applications, from frontend UI to backend infrastructure.

We are looking for self-driven experimenters who can help drive improvements for a constantly changing business. We value candidates who love to learn, share knowledge, and possess problem-solving mindsets. You will be working with all internal teams of Crypto.com on high-availability products and tooling critical to Crypto.com's success.

We are a remote team, operating within the U.K. and Hong Kong time zones.

Requirements

• Build new software, tooling, and automation for the internal teams of Crypto.com.
• Iterate and improve on distributed and mission-critical services.
• Manage project priorities and deliver high-quality, tested code.
• End-to-end web or mobile application development.
• Strong knowledge of one backend language (preferably Elixir, Node.js, or Ruby).
• Experience in one of the following:
  • A modern JavaScript framework (React, Vue, etc.)
  • Kotlin
  • Swift
• Proficiency in Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• General experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.

Good to Have:

• Ability to teach and mentor others.
• Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Functional Programming.
• DevOps/Cloud Infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Distributed System Design.
• Event-Driven Design.
• Service/Site Reliability Engineering experience.
• Observability tooling.
• Blockchain/Web3 Development.
• Account Auditing.
• Compliance and KYC.
• Customer Relationship Management (CRM).

Responsibilities
